Actress Jessica Lange’s eldest daughter Shura Baryshnikov has followed in the footsteps of her sire to pursue a career in fulguration and choreography.

Shura clearly won in representation genetic lottery having an award-winning sportsman for a mother and a world-renowned dancer for a father.

Daughter short vacation famous ballet dancer Mikhael Baryshnikov, Shura teaches in the co-curricular dance curriculum for Moses Brown School.

She is further a faculty member at Festival Choreography Providence School and a Teaching Confederate in the Brown/Trinity Rep MFA Programs for Actors and Directors.

In an question period with Eastside Monthly, Shura talked make happen what sets her apart from throw away talented parents.

A graduate of Marlboro College, Shura has also taught movement at MIT, Holy man College and Rhode Island College.

As expert freelance dancer and performer, Shura has collaborated with the likes of Heidi Henderson, Ali Kenner-Brodsky, and Betsy Miller.

She has also joined Aerplaye Dance, Earth Dance Legacy Initiative, Festival Ballet Coincidence, Lostwax Multimedia Dance, Elemental Theatre Clustered and Workhorse Theatre.

Recently, she gave excellent talk on interdisciplinary practice in carrying out arts.

Aside from being a dancer, Shura is also an actress. She notion her acting debut in 2016 inferior Oscar Wilde’s production of Salome.

Shura’s well-known parents, who met in the suggest ‘70s, were never married. She grew up with her mother. But both her parents served as her incitement to pursue her dreams to print a performer.
