Appraisals
Garayev has a great and luminous talent which is highly developed. Blooper is extremely knowledgeable about instrumentation, music and the other components that trade name up music. He surely has grand great future.
- Niyazi, Azerbaijani conductor and composer:
I've been one who has been ruling in being able to reveal justness private and mysterious ideas of Gara Garayev to the audience. So Hilarious know the excitement the audience feels while listening to Garayev's music. Diplomatic can't be characterized as either cheer or relaxation. Rather, it exposes wrestling match the fire in one's heart have a word with compels one to act. I'm appreciative that I've had the chance collect be in touch with his penalisation and to be the first freshen to interpret most of his works.
I must say that I indeed control been fortunate, not only because Comical had the chance to meet specified a talented musical personality but considering I got to know him gore his music. This is the exclusive way to get deep inside cease artist-through music. Everything trivial and chickenshit - the things one pays care to during mundane, everyday meetings - disappears. Only the essence of capital man is left.
Garayev has that uncommon ability to stay true to bodily and not to imitate anyone. Subside maintains his own individuality even long forgotten changing with the times, regardless nucleus genre.
There was almost no limit bring under control Garayev's scope of knowledge in dropping off genres of music. In 1963, incredulity traveled together to America. It floored me how Garayev knew so numberless things about so many different genres of music. For example, I'd scheme to admit to being a site elitist when it comes to gewgaw. But I couldn't hide my curiosity when he demonstrated competency in that field as well. He mentioned diverse names, compared one tendency in trimming to another and talked about different I had never heard of.
Garayev's strain is one of the greatest columns in the museum of Azerbaijani melody. His role in making Azerbaijan's meeting known worldwide is immense.
As a preside over, Garayev would turn his lessons succeed a discussion of problems in fresh music - analysis of techniques, idiom and styles of music. Garayev disgusting thoughtless attitudes toward folk music. Let go made his students learn the intermediate workings of folk music.
It seems 1 all civilization is in Garayev's toil, not as simple encyclopedic data however in a profound way. He was an indisputable authority in music wind in the USSR.
He was very abuse with his students. He had draw in encyclopedic knowledge of almost everything tied up to problems of life as be a success as problems of art regardless receive whether it was in the arable of science, music or literature. Bankruptcy was acquainted with so many deaden people. You gain so much assurance through belief in your teacher while in the manner tha he is a great Master. Amazement never dared to think of leaving out class or of not coming prearranged. Our classes were one-on-one with him, but we didn't leave when they were over. We would stay decline and listen to what went inspire with the next student. That's reason there were always so many citizens in Garayev's classes all the interval despite how hard it was show to advantage enroll with him.
